Welcome to NetGuardian (the "App"). These Terms of Use (the "Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("you", "user") and NetGuardian ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Purpose of the App

NetGuardian provides tools to enhance your digital security, including:

• Two-factor authentication (2FA) code generation
• Email and login leak analysis
• Wi-Fi network scanning for security risks
• AI-powered security assistant and insights

The App is intended for personal security use only.

2. Eligibility

You must:

• Be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction.
• Have the legal authority to enter into these Terms.

If you use the App on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to accept these Terms for that organization.

3. License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.

You may not:

• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or modify the App.
• Use the App for unlawful or unauthorized purposes.
• Copy or redistribute the App except as permitted by law.

4. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Use the App in compliance with all applicable laws.
• Maintain the security of your device and accounts.
• Provide accurate and lawful information.
• Not use the App to harm systems, networks, or individuals.

You are solely responsible for the security of your accounts and devices.

5. Two-Factor Authentication Feature

NetGuardian allows you to generate time-based one-time codes for third-party services. We do not store or transmit your authentication secrets. It is your responsibility to back up your authentication keys. We are not liable for account loss due to misconfigured, deleted, or lost authentication data.

6. Email & Login Leak Analysis

This feature checks whether your email or login appears in publicly known data breaches. Our leak analysis does not access your credentials. Results are provided based on external breach databases that may not be complete or fully up-to-date. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or availability of breach data.

7. Wi-Fi Analyzer

The Wi-Fi Analyzer evaluates basic network security indicators. Results are informational only and may not detect all vulnerabilities. The feature does not access or collect your traffic data. You are responsible for evaluating and securing your network.

8. AI Security Assistant

The AI assistant provides recommendations based on available data. AI outputs may not always be accurate or suitable for every situation. The AI assistant does not replace professional cybersecurity advice. You agree not to rely solely on AI outputs for critical decisions.

9. Data & Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for details on:

• What data we collect.
• How we process and store it.
• Your rights and choices.

By using the App, you consent to the collection and processing of data as outlined in the Privacy Policy.

10. Subscriptions & Payments

Certain features may require a paid subscription. Prices and billing terms are displayed within the App. All paid services are processed through the platform you purchased from (e.g., Apple App Store or Google Play Store). Refunds follow the policies of the respective store.

11. Prohibited Activities

You may not:

• Use the App for hacking, phishing, or illegal surveillance.
• Attempt to bypass App security measures.
• Distribute malware or harmful content.
• Use the App in a manner that could damage our infrastructure or reputation.

12. Disclaimers

The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, including:

• Fitness for a particular purpose.
• Reliability or accuracy of results.
• Continuous, secure, or error-free operation.

Security analysis features are informational and may not detect all threats. You use the App at your own risk.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:

• Loss of access to your accounts or authentication codes.
• Security breaches on your network or devices.
• Inaccurate AI recommendations.
• Any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.

Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with the App is to discontinue its use.

14. Changes to the App or Terms

We may update the App or modify these Terms at any time. Significant changes will be communicated through the App. Continued use of the App after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

15. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if you:

• Violate these Terms.
• Misuse or attempt to exploit the App.

Upon termination, your license to use the App ends immediately.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in your country or region unless local laws require otherwise. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of the applicable jurisdiction.
